Upon receiving her B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Bogazici University Ms Kalfaoglu worked at TAI-Lockheed Martin specialising in estimating and scheduling in production. She later pursued a master’s degree in finance from The Simon School of Business at The University of Rochester in New York.
Upon completing her master’s degree, she worked as an equity research analyst in Türkiye. The Turk Telekom IPO, the largest IPO up to date and the Do&Co IPO, the second double listing at the BIST and the Wiener Börse are among the IPO’s she has worked in.
She has covered stocks in telecommunications, aviation, electric utilities, retail, technology, defence, media and beverages. The expertise Ms. Kalfaoglu brings to CFA International is valuation and due diligence on companies as well as knowledge on industry trends and outlooks.
She has also worked in project finance advisory for renewable energy projects, bridging finance sources that range from banks to Export Credit Agencies like Euler Hermes, Atradius and the EBRD, with investors.
Ms. Kalfaoglu holds the Turkish Capital Markets Board’s Advanced Level (Level III) License, Corporate Governance Rating License and Credit Rating License.
